Here from vidding, only finished season 2, and this is lovely. The music without lyrics and the deft editting you've done hits the emotions and drew me in. Magic is wonderous and scary and unifying and harmful. Their world is so cool. All in their playing hands, which you've shown repetition style. Just a great fanvid.

Thank you! This vid was kind of interesting to me because normally I come at vids from a place of music + story -- the right song hits the right show, and it clicks. But in this case, I knew I wanted to make a vid specifically about magic on The Magicians, and I had no idea what song I wanted to use, so I had to go looking. (And then I had a really hard time finding one, because I knew I wanted it to be lyricless!) And the whole reason I wanted to make this vid was because of the hands -- I just knew it was going to look so interesting in vid form.

I love the structure of this vid. This is a beautiful tribute to magic on the show, the good, the bad, the hopeful.

Thank you! The structure was definitely really important to me with this vid, since without lyrics, there wasn't a lot else to hang meaning on.
