I went bowling with [livejournal.com profile] fishzilla and Liann. It was awesome. There were mini corn dogs and bowling and pseudo-DDR and arcade games and Superballs and ice cream and radioactivity.

And...it was fun. And I had a good time.

Also, I worked a solo shift at the gift shop for the first time today.

And I rented Matilda, which I have not seen in years, and I'm going to watch it. When I've written my 750 words of death.

Aaaaaw, you know Andrea in person? Lucky! I have no real life fandom friends :( Or real life friends that I talk to much online, actually. The two groups don't overlap much. Though I am meeting a longtime (like, 3-4 years) internet friend while I'm on vacation here, so that will be fun.

Glad you had fun, it sounds awesome (and hopefully you bowl better than I do. Not that it would take much). And with everything you've been dealing with lately, it's good to know that you got to have a good time.

SWEET! You have my kind of bowling skills! Once, when my friends and I had bumpers, I had a split. And I thought, "Hey, maybe if I bank the ball really hard against the bumpers, it will rocket back and forth all the way down and get both pins! :D Well, instead, it slammed into the bumper, catapulted up onto it, and rolled down the bumpper to the end of the lane and stuck there. We had to push the little button to call for assistance. My friends laughed. I did too, but they laughed harder. And called me bumperbutt/gutterbutt for a year. Without bumpers, I average about a 30. Oh yeah. 30.

Well, I'm only one state over (Ohio!), but I'm in southwest OH, so it's not that close. But if I ever randomly decide "Hey, I think I'm going to hop a bus and travel 5 hours to Pittsburgh!" I'll stop by and say hey! :)

we decided to do it without bumpers for some COMPLETELY REDICULOUS reason. i got like a 100 or something, but thats cause i always do really good at the very end of the game for some stupid reason. The first like 9/10ths of the game was absolutely terrible. they totally missed my ball toss, which I thought was hillarious XD

dude, 5 hours?! I keep on forgetting how big states are D: (that and taking a bus on a 5 hour trip might be a bit odd.)

Too late now, I guess, but I hope the 750 words went well.

I love Matilda. I haven't seen it in years, but I loved the music when I was a kid.
