A mostly uneventful day...

It's strange. I spent all of camp wishing I was back home, and now I'm really sad to have left. I guess I started liking things more the last few days. I was actually interacting. And I really liked my playwriting class.

I saw HP 5 again. I still think it's better than the others. And I got to see Erin and Andrea, neither of whom I'd seen in forever. And Andrea helped my dad and me with grocery shopping. Granted, she didn't really have a choice, as we were her ride, but still. It was nice. And Andrea's coming over tomorrow, hopefully.

Oh, and in case you're reading this, Abby: the actor who plays Gideon has left Criminal Minds.

Noooooooooooo! I'd been hearing rumors of missed script reads and contract disputes all week, but I'd been holding out on the hope that it would work itself out. I remembered all the publicity CBS got over firing two of the CSI actors over one not showing up to work and the other not mailing something contract related out in time, but they ended up rehired before the season started. Do you know WHY he left? And do you know if they'll replace him with a different actor (ick!) or just write him out? My, this is depressing. The "family" has been broken up :(.

Man. Seven episodes in? That won't be fun to rewrite. He just released a statement saying he left because of "Creative Differences" but wouldn't elaborate at all. I mean, I've heard rumors of him being sort of a "diva" or difficult to work with, but I'd always sort of written them off as rumors. I don't know what to think anymore. I'm going to try to withold judgement though, since we haven't heard much from him. The way Ed paints it sounds pretty bad. This is so weird . . .
