I can't get it out of my head - not this, particularly, but the image of the sea of green from last week. And the militia on their bikes with tear gas from Saturday.
I keep thinking of Yeats' "1916", "We know their dream; enough/ To know they dreamed and are dead."
this is so sad. i keep watching this, and its hard to believe that there is actually a woman dying right there. its so surreal through the camera. its kind of sad it takes something as horrible as this to get people's attention. like, hindsight is 20/20, almost. things need to get really horrible before anyone wants to change it. sorry, i kind of rambled on about nothing right there. this is just depressing..
